All events will be held at Worthington Kilbourne High School.
Events are slated to be as follows:
100 meter dash
200 meter dash
400 meter dash
800 meter run
1200 meter run
80 meter low hurdles (seniors only and new distance)
Long Jump
Discus (1 kg)
Shot Put (6 lbs)
High Jump (seniors only)
Each participant will receive a WYB Track t-shirt. On your registration form, you will be asked for a t-shirt size for your child. The sizes are: Youth Medium (size 10-12), Youth Large (size 14-16), Adult Small, Adult Medium or Adult Large. As we order the t-shirts based upon the responses given on the registration form, please try to be as accurate as possible. If you are unsure, it might be a good idea to order the shirt a size larger. It gets very costly to order additional shirts if we run out of a size because too many people change sizes. Running shoes are best. Track spikes are not allowed.
Awards will be given at the last meet at the end of the season.
The on-line registration period for the Track program will be from May 1, 2010 through May 31, 2011. To register and pay on-line, click on "On Line Registration" and fill out the on-line form. The cost of the program will be approx. $40 per participant. Add $5 if registered after June 1.
