REGISTRATIONS for FALL 2010 Recreation Soccer will be extended until August 15th.

Late fees will apply after this date. Registrations for 3rd,4th,and 5th grade boys and girls are no longer being accepted. These leagues are now full.

REGISTRATIONS FOR FALL 2010 Open June 29th and Closes August 15th Late Fee of $15.00 will apply after this closing date

Coaches selected by the commissioners will be eligible for a rebate of their childs participation fee. The coaches must follow the guidelines and background check required by Ohio South Youth Soccer Association.

The fall season will begin the weekend of September 11th and end by October 23rd.

WYB PREMIER RECREATION SOCCER (Registration extended until July 16)

Welcome to Worthington Youth Booster Premier Soccer Program. Premier Soccer represents the Parent Coached Team that wishes to experience a step-up from the Recreational Program. These teams will compete against other community based teams inside and outside of Worthington. Participants will register using the WYB registration system and be placed on a team. In the past these teams have competed in the Greater Outerbelt Youth Soccer League(GOYSL). Any participant registering will be placed on a team until all roster spots are full. Most team rosters range from 10 players to 14 players depending on the age group. Registrations will be open on June 16, 2010 and close on July 9, 2010. Participants will be placed on teams using the age matrix provided by the United States Soccer Federation(USSF). Practices will begin with a team clinic on Aug 2, 3, 4.

New Leagues for 6^th Grade Boys and Girls

The WYB Recreation program is expanding to include 6^th grade leagues for boys and girls. The new leagues are designed as alternatives to players and parents that are not ready to make the transition to Premier Soccer (see info below) or Select soccer. Spring registration fees for the new 6^th grade leagues will be $75 per player.

Worthington Youth Booster Referee Information

Worthington Youth Boosters employs approximately ninety young people as soccer referees to cover the four sites at which we hold recreational league games. Approximately half are licensed referees and half are trained by WYB. Beginning in 2004 we are piloting a senior referee program to give additional leadership and supervisory skills to veteran WYB referees who want to take on the additional responsibility of supervising the crews at one of our sites.
